美东南的华人基督徒正在从第一代移民向第二代移民过渡。我们的儿童正在长大成青少年，青少年长大成成人。越来越多的年轻人用英语沟通。与此同时，66-70%的年轻成人在大学期间离开他们的基督教信仰。请问你们家里读大学的孩子还去教会吗？
去年，亚特兰大华人基督教会北堂和西北堂的英文部牧师们，长老们，和同工们，以及其他教会的同工们成功地启动了成人英文营。今年的华人基督徒冬令会成人英文营首次邀请了East Cobb Presbyterian Church主任牧师Rev. Greetings to brothers and sisters in the Southeast U.S.,
Today is Thanksgiving Day. We are filled with gratitude for half a century of Southeast Chinese Christian Retreat, and for the LORD’s guidance of the many Chinese Christian churches here in the Southeast. This year’s winter retreat starts the day after Christmas. To give the Shocco Springs staff sufficient time to get the camp ready for us, please complete your online registration at https://www.secchurches.org/ by 12/11/2025.
Thanks to the support of Southeast U.S. Chinese Christian Church Association, we will provide registration discounts to college students and graduate students and their spouses and children, which applies to both the Chinese Camp and the English Camp. Students and spouses receive $50 discount per person, and their children receive 50% discount. Qualified students please contact the leaders of your local churches or bible study groups for verification of your student status, after which a special registration link will be issued to you. If you are unable to reach the right leader, please contact us at shocco2025@gmail.com.
Chinese Christians in the Southeast U.S. are undergoing a transition from first-generation immigrants to second-generation ones. Our children are growing up to be youths, and youths to be young adults. In the meantime, the U.S. is seeing 66-70% of the college students leaving their Christian faith. Do college students in your household still go to church?
Last year, English pastors, elders, and coworkers from Atlanta Chinese Christian Church North (ACCCN) and Atlanta Chinese Christian Church Northwest (ACCCNW), together with coworkers from other churches, successfully started an adult English Camp during the winter retreat. This year, the English Camp has invited Rev. Tim Locke, senior pastor of East Cobb Presbyterian Church, as the plenary speaker. The theme this year is “The Humility of Grace”. In addition, there will be three workshop sessions led by pastor Locke, pastor Sion Kim from ACCCN, and pastor Nicholas Schuleit from ACCCNW. Elder Thomas Tioe from ACCCN, elder Chiu-Sing Lin from ACCCNW, and other coworkers are actively coordinating this year’s English Camp. The English Camp web page was recently updated. For those of you who have college students coming home for the winter break, please remember to invite them to the English Camp. There, they will have the opportunity to meet other Chinese college students. If you, or your spouse, do not understand Chinese, we invite you to join the English Camp as well.

Again, we are so grateful for the support and cooperation kindly offered by many of our brother churches in the Southeast. We pray that the LORD will move more brothers and sisters to join us in this winter retreat. We especially pray for our college students and the English-speaking young adults.
